Colloid Mill

Colloid Mill

Colloid Mill suitable for fine grinding, dispersing and homogenizing in a single operation. The colloid mill consists of a SS 304 single piece casted body inside which is fitted the SS 304 Rotor and Stator grinding element. The material is fed through a SS Hopper and is forced between the Rotor and Stator where the material is sheared, dispersed, mixed and homogenized. The rate and degree of the above process can be finely controlled during operation by adjusting the gap between the Rotor & Stator by means of a hand lever provided. The colloid mill is mounted on a sturdy base frame and can be installed without foundation bolts if desired. All rotating parts of colloid mill are balanced and well lubricated for trouble free operation. The shaft is installed in a leak proof housing complete with bearings. ~O~ rings and Oil seals. The motor provided is of 3 Ph TEFC, 415 V 2800 RPM. The colloid mill is provided with one set of S.S. 304 grinding elements or one set of corundum stone grinding wheels as may be required.

Twin Shaft Disperser machine is Suitable for mixing of ointments, inks, sauces, pastes, foam, used in the Pharmaceutical,Food, Chemical and allied Industries. The mixing blades revolve in opposite direction to sweep the entire circumference of the vessel as well as rotate around its own axis. Intimate mixing is achieved in short intervals. The mixing elements are raised vertically by a electric or hydraulic lifting or lowering arrangement. The vessel can be removed and next batch can be kept ready for processing in these Twin Shaft Disperser. Mixing elements can be cleaned completely with vessel removed or by rotating the blades in the vessel loaded with solvent. A high speed emulsifier is provided in the centre of Twin Shaft Disperser machine for thorough mixing of the mass.

Excellent for kneading and mixing of highly viscous materials like dough, putty, rubber solutions, adhesives, polymers etc. The mixing action is a combination of smearing, stretching, folding, dividing and recombining as the material is processed between the sigma blades and the container walls. Jacket arrangement is provided for heating or cooling application. In bigger models the container is tilted by a hydraulic cylinder to ensure complete discharge of mass.

SF Suitable for homogenous mixing of dry powders of different bulk densities used in the Food, Mineral, Pharmaceutical, Paint & Chemical Industries. It is a simple versatile mixer which can also mix semi wet material. Ribbons of various designs are available to handle different materials. The mixer consists of a cylindrical shell inside which rotates a double helix shaft fitted with spiral inner and outer ribbons. During rotation of the shaft, the ribbons lift, convey and intermix the material to get a homogenous mass in short intervals. Discharge is from the bottom by a quick opening valve.
