Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Working with a dedicated Production team assembling a diverse range of SF products
- Bolting the skeleton of the product together followed by final assembly using various components (belt/motor/plastics/pneumatics)
- Efficient planning and time management to ensure products are assembled within the allocated budgeted hours
- Interpreting 2D/3D AutoCAD/SW drawings
- Skilled operation of various fabrication hand tools to ensure a high quality finish is achieved
- Conducting personal quality checks to ensure product meets with SF quality expectations and customer specifications
- Identify issues that may arise to the Production Team Leader
- Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is safe and tidy at all times
- Periodically, assisting in the installation and commissioning of equipment at customer premises during weekdays and/or weekends
- Liaising with support departments to achieve operational efficiency
- Potential for internal welding training to develop your skills within the company
Skills & requirements :
- Previous experience in the Food Processing industry an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of pneumatic controls an advantage but not essential
- Must be proficient in the operation of fabrication hand tools
- Ability to read 2D & 3D AutoCAD/SW drawings
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Must be able to work well on your own or as part of a team using your own initiative and solve problems as they arise
- Must be highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Essential tickets – Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheel
- Advantageous tickets (but not essential) – FLT and MEWP
- A good eye with high attention to detail
