The role:
To support its continued success and ambitious expansion plans, SF is seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner. This role reports to the Finance Director and is based at our headquarters in Grange, Co. Sligo. Working with all functions within the company, the Senior Finance Business Partner will co- ordinate and drive the budgeting/forecasting process, lead the systems upgrade, put in place reports to drive improved profitability and assist the Finance Director with integrating acquisitions.
The person:
This role requires an experienced accountant who understands manufacturing systems and budgetary processes. The appointed candidate will have a significant role in preparing for and executing the financial and systems portion of the company’s expansion programme. As such, they require the ability to work with all levels of management and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver the budgeting and forecasting process for all parts of the organization
- Lead the project to lean out the business and finance systems including upgrading ERP software
- Keep costing system information up to date
- Put in place reports to improve profitability
- Assist with integration of new acquisitions to the same platform
- Assisting in the improvement and development of internal systems and controls.
- Preparation of other financial reports as required by senior management
Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a fast-paced industry environment
- Excellent knowledge of business and accounting systems
- Ability to analyse problems, develop and implement solutions to generate immediate results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) – ability to develop strong working relationships within the business.
- Positive and flexible attitude with the aptitude to take ownership of work as required and see it through to completion.
